He's Healthy

Went to the doctor today to check on Anderson's vomiting and his crankiness. She said that he seems just fine and there's nothing to worry about. He's growing so he's getting plenty to eat (of keeping plenty down) and she said the only change I could make is to cut out dairy and see if that helps. I don't each much dairy so that shouldn't be too hard. I wasn't terribly worried but I am happy with the results!

yea! that's great news! I was told to cut down on dairy too when I thought Kara might have colic the 1st few weeks. I was devastated though because I love milk! I don't think that was it because I started to increase the dairy again a few weeks ago and she has been fine. Well other than the spit-ups...I can't wait for her 2 month visit to see how much she has grown!

Hope tonight goes well for you guys! :)

PS- Congrats on the weight loss...that's awesome!!!!!!

Haha I did this too. I had a whole week where Preston was barfing and spitting up a lot. I must have called the Nurse's desk 5 times in one week asking questions. And I brought him to see the doctor twice. They gave me a perscription for acid reflux for him...but I had a gut feeling that wasn't it. He is fine now. I think he just had an upset tummy.

sometimes I don't think doctors know what the problem is either and so they just try a bunch of different diagnosis until they find the right one, as sad as that is. But with babies, since they can't talk, I'm sure its hard to find the reason for things.

It gives me such pleasure to read your postings each day - usually on the train on the way to the office. I think you guys are GREAT parents. Can't wait to meet Anderson in person...
