Resemblance???

I have heard from EVERYONE how much AJ looks like Jason- ever since he was born. Well, I ran across this picture of me the other day and I have to say that I think AJ might actually be looking a little like me now! What do you think??? Maybe it's just wishful thinking :)

Noooooooooooo

UGH! I hate this word.... It seems to be the only word AJ knows at this point.... Here's a sample of our conversations every..single...day...

Me: "AJ, do you want to read a book?
AJ: "No"

Me: "Honey, are you cute?"
AJ: "No"

Me: "Honey Bear, I love you...Do you love Mama?"
AJ: "Noooo"

Me: "AJ, can I have a kiss?"
AJ: (With a huge grin on his face) "Noooooooooooooooooooooo"

And the best part is, when I take him seriously- like when I ask if wants something to eat and he says no- he flips out because even though he says NO, he means YES.

The Attitude!

Good grief... This child.... He's starting to REALLY throw tantrums! Since it's been freezing here the past few months, AJ hasn't been able to play outside much. And he LOVES to play outside. Well, tonight I was going to take him to Little Monkey Bizness to play but before we left I fed Buster outside... AJ came out back with me onto the deck and noticed all of his great outdoor toys. Of course he wanted to play- but seriously there is still a little bit of snow on the ground! So, I let him play with his lawn mower for a few minutes and I decided it was time to go.It was still daylight but we were in the shade and his face was turning red. OH...MY...GOSH. HE FLIPPED OUT. He went into a whole crying fit- red face, holding his breath, kicking me when I picked him up- just a total tantrum. UGH... I think it's only just begun.

Potty Training...

No, no, no....I'm not even considering giving it a try yet, but..... I've noticed in the last week or so that AJ will tell me when he's going poop! (Sorry- this is probably too much info!) He'll stand there and point to his bunnies (ok, thats what I call his butt) and say "Poo Poo!" I think it's a step in the right direction!

From what I've been told, boys are SUPER hard to potty train. So, I'm not going to think about it until he's at least 2 years old.... Well, we'll see.... Thats what I say today.

Fire House Tour!

Today, AJ and I went to our 2nd tour of the Castle Rock Fire Station. I must say, being a year older this time, it was A LOT more fun! He seriously LOVED IT!

We went with our MOMS Club and so there were a few other kids there around AJ's age. I expected him to be a little frightened, but he really wasn't! He was a little scared when the fireman put on his uniform and mask- as a demonstration- but all the other kids were sort of freaked out by that too.

As you can see, he LOVED being in the drivers seat of the truck, and I had to drag him out of there! When we left he was giving high fives to all the firemen and they thought he was pretty cute :)

Pucker Up!

AJ and I started this new game yesterday. I must say, it's my favorite game ever!

I set up his ride on train in our family room so he can use it whenever he wants. Yesterday I started asking him to give me a kiss each time he went around the track. As he would get closer to me, he'd pucker up his lips and then when he got close enough, he'd just plant a kiss on my lips and then keep chugging by. LOVE IT! It's the sweetest!

Up until then, his kisses consisted of putting our cheeks together, which I've always loved, but this is just SO much better!

I love him!
