True Love

Tonight, AJ and I were going thru his HUGE basket of stuffed animals. I was setting them up to sit next to each other and he started hugging them all. He loved it! Then, I showed him his 4 doggie stuffed animals- and he associated them with Buster. So, he started to set them all up next to Buster. I tried really hard to get a good pic of him looking at me with Buster, but couldn't. This is a pretty good one though. They are truly, the best of friends!

Dying Easter Eggs

Last night Grandma came over and we attemped to dye Easter eggs. It was a lot of fun! And messy! Actually, it could have been MUCH messier. A friend of mine gave me an idea to put the hard boiled egg into a wire wisk and then AJ could dip the wisk into the dye. GREAT idea for someone his age. He had a good time, but got a little frustrated that we wanted to hold the bowl and ensure the dye didn't get ALL over the kitchen. We only dyed 8 eggs which was probably a few too many for him, but we moved it along quickly :)
Notice his green hand!
AJ's first dyed Easter Eggs!
After the eggs, we decided to do some finger painting- FUN!

Easter Bunny!

He wasn't a huge fan of the Easter Bunny, but it was better than Santa! And he would ONLY sit with him if I was there too :)

Biting!

I can't even go into the details- it just makes me sick.... AJ bit a little girl yesterday. Yet another thing that makes me feel like Mother Of The Year.....

Not to make it seem better, but thankfully, he didn't break skin, but I did see teeth marks on her finger. I know kids go through this, but I was really hoping mine wouldn't.

UGH!

21 months!

A few more cute things:

AJ calls himself "EEEGGG". It's so cute! He will look at a picture of himself and say it, or recently he'll tell me "EEGG" is going to do something.

He's starting to put words together. Today, he said, "Bye Bye Daddy". In the recent past, he's been saying "Choo Choo, Bye Bye" or things like that- in the wrong order. And today, he started getting it right.

I love to watch him grow and learn!
