Dying Easter Eggs

Last night Grandma came over and we attemped to dye Easter eggs. It was a lot of fun! And messy! Actually, it could have been MUCH messier. A friend of mine gave me an idea to put the hard boiled egg into a wire wisk and then AJ could dip the wisk into the dye. GREAT idea for someone his age. He had a good time, but got a little frustrated that we wanted to hold the bowl and ensure the dye didn't get ALL over the kitchen. We only dyed 8 eggs which was probably a few too many for him, but we moved it along quickly :)
Notice his green hand!
AJ's first dyed Easter Eggs!
After the eggs, we decided to do some finger painting- FUN!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have never died easter eggs. Ever. I wouldn't even know what to do.

My parents always just bought the plastic little eggs, or we would paint eggs with brushes and stuff.

Looks like AJ had a really great time!
