Sorry for the title, but doesn't every parent get super excited when their kid finally is potty trained??? It's all that we talk about and consumes us!
I'm going to say, that AJ is now potty trained. He has been peeing in the potty for a few weeks now- but FINALLY this weekend he started pooping too! Such a big step. Now, all we have to work on is overnights- and I know that'll take some time.
The other thing that I'm pleasantly surprised about is that he's completely fine going to the bathroom in public toilets. I've heard a lot of parents tell me their kids won't do it, or are terrified of public restrooms. AJ doesn't like the "youd" flushers, but it doesn't scare him enough to keep him away.
SOOOO proud of my boy, once again :)
